- 12th passed in any subject from any recognized board/institute.
- Skill test norms on computer :
- English typing @ 35 words per minute.

Civilian Mechanical Transport Driver (Ordinary Grade) :
- Matriculation or equivalent qualification from a recognized board or university.
- Must be holding a valid Civil Driving License for light and heavy vehicle.
- Must possess professional skill in driving and knowledge of motor mechanism.
